Our expanding ‘Lending Library’

book group 1There is just something relaxing about sitting in a favourite place with a book and a hot cuppa. Even if you don’t have the spare hour to sit, five minutes of eye sweeping can glean a few helpful tips to help on your better health journey.

Our motto is ‘Health Education Nutrition’. Education here being the key word. The lending library makes it easy to borrow a book, return and then pick up another rather than paying for multiple books that you may never pick up and read again.

We believe knowledge is power, power to take control over your health and your life, we are here to help every step of the way.  Empowering a parent/carer or friend to learn and understand allows empathy to grow.

Best selling authors Ruth Sharkey, John Gray and Steve Biddulph are amongst many we stock.

Our lending library categories include:

  • Conception
  • Breast feeding
  • Toddler taming
  • Raising boys
  • Why is my adolescent weird
  • Asperger syndrome
  • Arthritis
  • Back health
  • Women’s health
  • Menopause
  • Diabetes
  • Heart health and Cholesterol
  • Hypothyroidism
  • Yeast/Candida
  • Cancer
  • Prostate and breast cancer
  • How to stop smoking
  • Depression
  • Dealing with grief

And a huge range of cooking books which include allergy free cooking.
