Milo Date Walnut Energy Balls

Milo Date Walnut Protein Balls

Makes approx. 12 balls. Keep in the refrigerator or in the freezer.


1 cup pitted dates

1 ripe banana

dash vanilla

1 cup uncooked oats

2 tbsp. flax meal

2 tbsp. chai seeds

1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

3 tbsp. milo


Into a food processor add all ingredients except for the walnuts. Pulse until it forms a rough dough. Add walnuts and pulse for a further 15-20 seconds. The mix should be rather firm and able to roll into balls. Best to leave in the fridge for a couple hours to become cold before eating.  Enjoy breakfast, morning tea or afternoon tea.

Great for an afternoon snack for active children.
