Makes approx. 12 balls. Keep in the refrigerator or in the freezer.
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1/4 cup sultanas
3 teasp. coconut oil
1/2 cup uncooked oats
2 tbsp. slivered almonds
2 tbsp. flax meal (or seeds if you prefer)
3 tbsp. pure honey.
Into a food processor add all ingredients and pulse till a paste is formed. Add a little more honey if it needs to come together more. Roll a teaspoon full into balls and pop into the fridge for approximately 1 hour before eating. Best consumed cold for breakfast with a cuppa or for an afternoon tea pick me up. (recommended 2 balls per day).
Great for an afternoon snack for active children.
