Each year many of us plan to make changes to our lives whether it be exercise, nutrition, break that bad habit, rid ourselves of toxic friends and make new ones even try new experiences to cross off the bucket list. But honestly, do we stick to the plan?
Sometimes we may begin well, have all good intentions then find a tiny excuse that turns from a molehill to a mountain leading to lack of enthusiasm, feelings of denial eventually no return of results…….and the list goes on and on…
Change is difficult for everyone! And a total lifestyle change is doomed to fail.
Little steps forward propels you to success. Everything takes time, a person learns to drive a car over a period of time learning all the key functions, necessary manoeuvres and defensive tactics. Learning to adjust a lifestyle is no different but there is one point that must be stressed – YOU MUST WANT TO AND BE READY TO CHANGE! Don’t do it for anyone else but for you, only then will you achieve. There will be days of no success and then huge success but it is the overall picture, the end game to focus on.
Here are some simple solutions that may help to keep you on track. Place them on the fridge, in your diary, set a reminder on your phone anywhere to remind yourself to remain focused. Finish Well. (each day, week, month)
